Job Role: To implement the Performance Management and Career Development systems in line with the global best practices and Corporate HR governance framework. Support the achievement of country PM strategy/plans while promoting a performance driven culture at country level.


  • Policies, Procedures, Systems and Processes
    • Lead the implementation of performance management and career development policies & procedures, instructions and controls
    • Ensure compliance to approved policies & procedures and support the achievement of quality standards across the organization
  • Supervision
    • Manage effective performance management functional objectives – setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal
  • Performance Management
    • Guide and advise on all related aspects, such as identification of key performance indicators, handling performance reviews etc.
    • Ensure that star performers are recognized and rewarded
    • Ensure that the performance evaluation process in use is fair and transparent and enables an accurate evaluation of employee contribution
    • Support and ensure that unique KPIs are developed and reflected as appropriate
    • Ensure the accuracy of the reporting with respect to the measure and details of the KPI
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of performance management systems and practices taking into account ‘best practice’
    • Identify gaps to retain star and growth performers
    • Initiate Talent Management and workforce planning to focus on developing the workforc
  • Communication & Networking
    • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments and external entities with highest standards of business ethics
  • HRIS and Reports
    • Prepare HRIS statements and periodic reports of performance management to meet country and department requirements, policies and standards


Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management/Organization Psychology is preferred Any other Human Resource Certification (SHRM/CIPD)
  • Broad knowledge on best practices of Performance Management and Career Development methodologies Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role for AM position and 3-4 years of experience for Managerial position
